Setup values

These are the numbers and station facts Derek's rules still need. A fleet value applies everywhere. A station value replaces it at that station. A unit value replaces both for that piece of equipment.

Back to Rules

Box → air handler

Each box and the air handler the rules use for it, with where that came from. The rules try, in this order: a confirmed link, the Setup answer for which air handler serves each box, the station tree, the only air handler on the station, then a box name that fits one air handler only, such as VAV-2-01 for AHU-2. A box whose name fits more than one air handler, or none, waits for a link. An owner or an admin can confirm the air handler for any box, or clear a confirmed link so the rules go back to the next source. A fan is never an air handler.

No stations are loaded, so boxes cannot be listed.

Temperature units

Temperatures with no unit are °F (default) or °C

A temperature that carries its own unit always uses it. This setting is only for points that send a number with no unit. They are read as °F unless the station, or the device, is set to °C here. Set every station that reports in °C.

Every station reads °F, the default.
